Making it easier to open up a global market.
PROBLEM
With over 400 brands and 1000’s of products across a global market, the team in Unilever did not have a single view of the brands across the portfolio. Instead, users had to access multiple systems globally resulting in lots of wasted time and frustration.
SOLUTION
After in-depth conversations and an understanding of requirements Neem were able to build an Electronic Shopping Basket (ESB), a php website giving users an electronic shopping basket to view the entire Unilever product portfolio. ESB provides an overview of brands linking to 4 SAP regions and connects to 15 other backend systems.
RESULT
The result is with over 3000 users worldwide, ESB has given Unilever a single destination to view the brands globally and look for opportunities to push brands in new markets. We were able to double the number of users following rollout and continue to push new updates and features such as the top-selling products in different regions and new products launching. No longer is it a difficult process to see the Unilever portfolio which has made it easier for teams to open up new markets for products across the portfolio.
