The Dole Truth: Processing half a million tons of pineapple.

PROBLEM

The failed implementation of new systems in a Dole pineapple processing factory caused a major breakdown in warehouse management. Understandably you can’t stop pineapple trees growing pineapples. It was therefore imperative that a speedy solution was found to prevent the spoiling of large quantities of produce at a huge cost.

SOLUTION

An agile assessment of Dole’s warehouse system allowed us to diagnose the problem. We then developed and implemented a foolproof D365 warehouse management solution. This was all done remotely during the height of COVID-19 when other major suppliers were incapable of providing a solution.

RESULT
As a result, we were able to reduce waste and deliver a solution remotely and in a COVID environment where others couldn’t. This solution is still being used today and we continue to support Dole Foods with their warehouse management.
