Introduction:

We seek an experienced ERP Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of ERP solutions, ideally with supply chain and food and beverage experience or exposure. This role requires a hands-on approach and a balanced understanding of the technical and business aspects of ERP implementations. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, experience in supply chain operations, and a grasp of food and beverage industry standards. Proficiency in both waterfall and agile methodologies is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Led end-to-end ERP implementation projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time and within scope and budget.
• Manage and oversee all project phases, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, system configuration,
testing, user training, and go-live support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and external vendors, to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
• Conduct risk assessment and mitigation planning, adjusting the project approach to meet evolving needs.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular status updates and managing expectations.
• Apply appropriate waterfall and agile project management methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and timely project delivery.
• Lead change management activities to ensure smooth transitions and adopt the new ERP system.
• Monitor and report project performance post-go-live to assess impact and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Essential Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience managing ERP implementations, preferably within the supply chain and food & beverage industries
• Proficiency in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
• Strong understanding of supply chain operations, logistics, and procurement processes, ideally within the food and beverage sector
• Proven track record of delivering ERP solutions on time and within budget
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to handle complex project requirements, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving project needs.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Certified Practitioner)
• Familiarity with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and supply chain management software
• Experience in process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance specific to the food and beverage industry
• Ability to analyze data and drive data-based decision-making.
