Introduction:

The Application Platform Lead – Head is responsible for the comprehensive management, stability, and security of the Client’s critical application platforms, including Alfresco, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and various Business and Enterprise Applications. This role ensures optimized performance, smooth operation, and strategic oversight of both cloud and on-premises infrastructure that supports these
applications.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess in depth working knowledge in most of the following:

• Design and validate infrastructure for applications.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors on requirements.
• Oversee application installation and configuration.
• Monitor and manage application and infrastructure
• Liaise with teams/vendors for issue resolution and escalate when needed.
• Manage security, user access, and access control lists.
• Plan and manage capacity and licenses.
• Monitor and tune systems to improve problem
• Implement backup and recovery plans and strategies.
• Develop and test DR and Business Continuity Plans.
• Maintain DR/BCP documents and communicate with
• Define and implement secure configurations.
• Establish protocols with vendors and support teams.
• Coordinate for implementation, changes, and support activities.
• Conduct user audits and maintain documentation.

Technical Experience:

• Proficient in managing cloud (Azure) and on-premise
  Deep understanding of application platforms like Alfresco, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  Knowledge of web servers, application servers, and related
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in implementing security measures and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with automated patch management and security hardening processes.
• The candidate should have 8-12 years of relevant experience in independently planning and delivering large-scale IT transition projects.
• Should have excellent exposure and experience in managing Hostile Transitions.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a must.
